Dr. Joel Singer, a board certified plastic surgeon, leverages over 30 years of extensive medical experience in Westport, Connecticut. Possessing a particular interest in nonsurgical and minimally invasive procedures, Dr. Joel Singer incorporates the latest techniques into his repertoire of services. Whether one desires a small personal change or a more drastic one, Dr. Joel Singer works closely with each patient to develop a solution to meet his or her unique needs. Dr. Joel Singer began his formal education as an undergraduate at Queens College, The City University of New York. Committed to academic excellence, Dr. Singer was accepted into medical school after his second year of studying chemistry and biology. Dr. Joel Singer earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Yale School of Medicine. He subsequently completed residencies at Yale New Haven Medical Center and Rhode Island Brown University Hospital. Dr. Joel Singer returned to academia in 2007, earning his M.B.A. from the George Washington University School of Business. Dr. Singer has always been at the leading edge of innovation. He had the first CO2 laser in Connecticut and was the first plastic surgeon in Connecticut to perform liposuction in the early 1980s. His interests in fat transfer lead him to his current interest in investigating the benefits of autologous fat derived adult stem cells. Passionate about helping others in both a professional and personal capacity, Dr. Joel Singer is actively involved in Healing the Children, a nonprofit organization that assists children in receiving medical treatment. Dr. Joel Singer has traveled around the globe to provide training to local plastic surgeons, as well as free surgeries to children in need. Dr. Joel Singer continues his involvement in the medical community through active participation in various medical organizations at both national and local levels, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the New England Society of Plastic Surgeons.
