Dr. Kathleen Morno is a native Chicagoan and graduate of Loyola University Medical School, where she finished at the top of her class. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at Loyola University Medical Center, and later, completed additional training in laser vision correction (LASIK) and facial aesthetic enhancements. Dr. Morno has had a thriving private practice for the past 12 years in the northwest suburbs with thousands of loyal patients. In addition, she has served an underprivileged, inner-city community by providing much needed ophthalmic care. Her spirit of service has allowed her to participate in several medical missionary trips to Guatemala. She is an active fundraiser for many non-profit organizations such as SHARE, Haiti earthquake relief fund, No Kid Hungry and Eye Care America, to name a few. She is active in her church, where she has recently implemented a Health and Wellness Ministry, has been a contributing writer for Northwest Suburban Woman, and regularly lectures for several hospitals and community groups. She sits on the board of directors for the Barrington Area Council on Aging, an organization that services the elderly. Despite her busy career and philanthropic spirit, Dr. Morno enjoys spending time with her friends and family by preparing gourmet meals, traveling to new locales and long distance biking. Dr. Morno is excited to join Ritacca Cosmetic Surgery & Medspa, where she hopes to continue to grow her following of happy patients with her warm and friendly personality.
