Dr Peter Chapman-Smith is the Medical Director of the Skin and Vein Clinic in Whangarei, Northland, NZ. He is a Cosmetic Physician with an interest in skin cancer surgery, nonsurgical varicose vein treatment (phlebology – endovenous ablation and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy), tumescent liposuction, appearance medicine, diving and hyperbaric medicine and sports medicine. With a background in family medicine, 10 years in anaesthesia and 20 years of delivering obstetrics, he currently also conducts pilot and commercial diver medical licenses. His clinical work invlolves a skin laser suite to provide a full range of cosmetic skin treatment procedures. Having considerable experience with anaesthesia and sports medicine, coupled with liposuction skills, he is well placed in the field of stem cell therapy to deploy SVF for a range of indications – especially for degenerative joint and autommune diseases, skin rejuvenation and scar revision. He has closely followed developments in this field and has aligned with the CSN group, attracted by their track record and established Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved protocols .
